Uno Chicago Grill chose to leverage Facebook app FBML to showcase their menu items in a very attractive way. In addition, their welcome tab features links to their website. This way, when non-fans visit their page for the first time, they get an instant look at Uno’s offerings.

In addition, Uno created a fan of the Week contest where some lucky fan gets his photo posted on the profile image of Uno’s wall.

LiveScribe

LiveScribe took their Facebook page to a whole new level; not only can fans directly purchase LiveScribe products from their storefront tab but the loyal fans can also tweet and/or post information about LiveScribe products on their Facebook walls.

Moreover, they have a support desk available on their page to allow fans to familiarize themselves with LiveScribe products effortlessly. Talk about intelligent branding!

Coca-Cola took adding the fun factor in promotions to a whole new level. They created the Summer Snapshot contest where they encouraged their fans to take interesting photos with their summer Coca-Cola cans.

Once a fan posts a photo, it will instantly appear on the news feeds of his friends. Talk about viral marketing in action!

But the fun doesn’t end here: people are also allowed to vote on the best photo which menas more fan interaction.

Also Coca-Cola used their name instead of the traditional welcome tab title. A clever branding tip! Don’t you think? In addition, their welcome tab has links to other social media sites as well as links to their products.
